  CCTV News: On February 6th, it was learned from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing that in 2022, China's logistics industry experienced multiple pressures such as the impact of the epidemic, insufficient demand, and rising costs, and overall achieved stable operation, with major economic indicators achieving steady growth.

  It is reported that the total social logistics volume in 2022 is expected to exceed 340 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of about 3.6%. The total revenue of the logistics industry is expected to reach 12 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of about 5%.

  Specialized logistics sectors such as railway, cold chain and express delivery maintained a high growth rate. In 2022, national railways handled 3.9 billion tons of freight, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%, the highest growth rate in nearly three years. The market size of cold chain logistics is expected to exceed 490 billion yuan for the whole year, a year-on-year increase of about 7.2%. The total number of express delivery items completed reached 110.58 billion, a net increase of 2.28 billion over the previous year.

  In 2022, large-scale enterprises achieved counter-trend growth and steadily expanded their market share. There are more than 8,600 Class A logistics enterprises nationwide, and the total revenue of China's Top 50 Logistics Enterprises approached 2 trillion yuan, with the entry threshold increasing by 2 billion yuan compared with the previous year. Among them, several enterprises have a revenue scale exceeding 100 billion yuan.

  Smart logistics has shown strong vitality. Logistics parks, distribution centers and warehouses have stepped up intelligent transformation, and smart logistics parks and intelligent warehousing facilities have been upgraded and updated. By the end of the third quarter of 2022, the total number of online freight platforms nationwide had reached 2,382, and the annual number of orders on national instant logistics platforms is expected to exceed 40 billion.

  International logistics has continuously explored new tracks. In 2022, 16,000 China-Europe Railway Express trains were operated, transporting 1.6 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 9% and 10% respectively. Freight transport on the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor in the west maintained a strong growth momentum, with 756,000 TEUs transported throughout the year, a year-on-year increase of 18.5%.
